Day 1: Dec 10, 2019 Hanoi Arrival – Hoa Binh Hotel ***

Our driver and tour guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer to your Hotel in Hanoi for the night. Free at leisure

Day 2: Dec 11, 2019 Hanoi – Mai Chau, 170km, back road ~5h – Homestay, (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
7:00 AM our tour guide will pick you at the hotel and transfer to our garage to prepare for the trip. Your Vietnam motorcycle tours begin now. To avoid the main road No 6 with many big trucks and long vehicles by taking the small back road along the Black River. Lunch will be provided in our friend’s family at the most spectacular scenery of the islands in the area of the Black River.
Continue riding on small road to Mai Chau, after checking we will spend about an hour hiking around the village then return to the family.
After dinner, you can spend the evening sitting together around a fire and join in a Thai traditional music show. In their traditional attire, typical of their culture, Thai women invite visitors to participate in the Xoe dance. To the rhythmical and ebullient music, the hosts and guests will dance with hand-in-hand for hours.

Day 3: Dec 12, 2019 Mai Chau – Bac Yen, 170km, offroad option Ta Xua Hill, (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
After the breakfast, we ride back to the Black River and heading west direction on the old road No 6 which was built since the French Colonial but people don’t use this road any more. We ride for an hour on this road then decide to ride on the back road or taking the offroad to ride to very remote area with a lot of fun then take a ferry to the other side of the Black River. Here we have an option to keep riding offroad or taking the paved road riding to Bac Yen.

Day 4: Dec 13, 2019 Bac Yen – Muong La, 120km, offroad option – Xuan Huong Guesthouse, (breakfast, lunch, dinner) 
Today is special with an option for offroad through high mountain, remote area. We will ride through many mountain hill tribe villages. A picnic lunch is needed to bring along with as there is not any restaurant.
The pave road option will be easy and quite early arrive to Muong La where we will spend time to visit the Son La Hydro Power Station, the biggest one in SE Asia.

Day 5: Dec 14, 2019 Muong La – Tua Chua, 220 km, ~6hs – Hoang Sang Hotel, (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
The ride to day on Vietnam motorcycle tours through the most remote part in the Northwest of Vietnam with beautiful limestone karts, many different ethnic hill tribe villages you will have chance to make many stops. The excellent road for motorbiking without any traffic.
In the afternoon we ride over Pa Uon bridge, where you will be amazed with the scenery of the Black River here, it’s like part of Ha Long Bay.
We still have an option for offroad to ride to Tua Chua for about 2 hours from here.

Day 6: Dec 15, 2019 Tua Chua – Sapa 210 km, ~6hs, offroad option – Sapa Charm Hotel ****, (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
After breakfast in a local restaurant with traditional cuisine of Vietnam “Pho” and a very good local coffee we will ride down hill to the Black River and take a ferry to the other side and ride through the beautiful mountain passes to Sin Ho. Due to the environment and a height of 1,700m, getting there is very hard journey, so the people living here mostly keep to their very long lasting lifestyle. The unchanged way of life from ancient days is hard to be done anywhere. However, it should be said that there is no way for urbanization to occur in these areas. Moreover, only a handful of travel agencies can bring their customers to this remote area. The reason Sin Ho is regarded as the richest mountain market in the Northwest province, is that anybody who is courageous enough to visit the area is rewarded with the fortune of visiting. This does nothing to limit the motley colours of traditional clothes of various ethics such as the Green H’mong, the Black H’mong, the White H’mong, the Dzao Dau Bang, and the Lu. Day 7: Dec 16, 2019 Sapa – Xin Man, 180 km, ~5hs, ofroad option – Phu Cuong Hotel, (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
In the morning we ride down hill to Lao Cai for a coffee right at the border with China on the side of the Red River then we continue to ride along China border to Muong Khuong, we also have option for offroad riding from here over Bac Ha to Xin Man.

Day 8: Dec 17, 2019 Xin Man – Ha Giang, 150km, ~5h offroad option – Tay ethnic family, (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Xin Man is a small remote district capital town, if you are on Sunday morning it will be a really great chance to enjoy the weekend market where many different ethnic groups come to the market with their local goods. The paved road to Ha Giang is easy but it will take about 5 hours for 150km due to the mountain road.
The offroad option will start after 40km from the town with about 90km offroad, single trail riding with a lot of fun.

Day 9: Dec 18, 2019 Ha Giang rest day – Tay ethnic family, (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Free at leisure, relax in the beautiful village, fishing, hiking or swimming in the waterfall near by

Day 10: Dec 19, 2019 Ha Giang – Dong Van, 160km Hoa Cuong Hotel ***, (breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Your Vietnam motorcycle tours today is special, ride and shine for a few hours trek to many of the Heaven Gates such as Quan Ba, Yen Binh and Dong Van. They are called so because one gets the feeling of touching the sky, the heaven gates. This is the best time and place to enjoy the wonderful sightseeing of the vast limestone mountain range and perpendicular walls of rock, which brings one a feeling of adventure while being lost in a magic land.
Here we are surrounded by many rocks of all shapes and sizes. After lunch at Yen Minh town, the scenic route climbs over a pass before arriving to Pho Bang, also called Bang Street, which was built many centuries ago and features multi-storey houses made of clay bricks and tile roofs. Visit some of our local friends, who are Hoa minority. Then we continue our trip to visit the infamous Vuong Palace, a H’mong family of high rank during French colonial rule (Vuong Chi Sinh was supported to be the H’mong King in Vietnam). This palace attracts keen interest from architecturally minded visitors due to its mixed style of European and Chinese architecture.

Day 11: Dec 20, 2019 Dong Van – Meo Vac – Ba Be, 180km ~5h + 2 hours by boat – Tay ethnic homestay, (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
The first 20 km on the Ma Pi Leng really made the trip worth with the most spectacular scenery of limestone karts and view of Nho Que River. We may spend 1 – 2 hours just for this 20km so an early departure is needed today.
The riding will be very challenging with pave road, dirt road (option) or we can take the main pave road also.
We will arrive to Nang River at about 3:00PM and take a boat trip through Ba Be Nationa Park.
The boat will drop us off at the village of Pac Ngoi where we will spen the night with a Tay ethnic family.
After dinner, enjoy the traditional music of Tay ethnic perform by the local article

Day 12: Dec 21, 2019 Ba Be – Hanoi, 220km Hoa Binh Hotel ***, (breakfast, lunch)
Leave Ba Be National Park by taking a small pave road riding through down to Thai Nguyen province where we will have lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon we ride along Tam Dao mountain range to Vinh Yen then follow the back road to enter Hanoi. Finish your Vietnam motorcycle tours

Day 13: Mar 5, 2019 Hanoi departure – (breakfast)
It is your free time in Hanoi to explore the city on your own, our taxi driver will pick you up and transfer to Noi Bai airport for your flight home.

BMW R1200 GS, Royal Enfield will NOT be able to do some single offroad trail if you are not advanced riding skill
