Early morning, we gather at MotoTours Asia Garage from 6:30 AM to gear up together.
7:00 AM we depart, heading to Đại Lải Lake for breakfast and coffee. Then we ride along the Tam Đảo Range up to Đại Từ, Chợ Chu… before following the lush green terraced fields rising toward the H’Mông and Tày villages of Bắc Kạn Province.
In the afternoon at Ba Bể Lake, we board a boat to explore the lake, disembarking at a peaceful spot where we will stay tonight.

Today is a long journey with many highlights ahead, so we’ll have an early breakfast, take the boat across the Năng River, and set off bright and early!
Today’s route cuts through the wilderness bordering Bắc Kạn, Tuyên Quang, Cao Bằng, and Hà Giang provinces. We’ll stop at Bắc Mê station before entering the legendary Du Già road to reach Đồng Văn. Depending on the group’s riding skill, we may tackle zigzag trails and shortcut across towering mountains.

We spend the full day exploring Đồng Văn and Mèo Vạc on secluded, tourist-free routes. In the afternoon, relax with a view of the Nho Quế River from Mã Pí Lèng Pass before returning to the hotel.

Today, we pass through Khâu Vai Love Market, then cross the Nho Quế River by bamboo raft into Cao Bằng. We’ll tackle a challenging 40 km stretch of rocky road—only passable in dry conditions.
If you truly seek adventure, we’ll ride along the Nho Quế before reaching the raft crossing—this option is for experienced and fit riders only.
After lunch in Bảo Lạc, the afternoon is for exploring Cao Bằng’s famed passes like Khau Cố Chà (Mẻ Pja) and Nà Tênh on the China border patrol road.
Arrive at Non Nước Cao Bằng—UNESCO Global Geopark—with thrilling passes that amaze the world’s most demanding riders. In the evening at Pác Bó, after unloading, electric cars will take us to Lenin Stream for a soak and to explore Pac Bó Cave.

Continue exploring Cao Bằng’s karst borderlands, with limestone peaks, villages, and crystal-clear rivers unmatched anywhere. After checking in at border hotspots, we visit Ngườm Ngao Cave and take a bamboo raft on the Quầy Sơn River to enjoy Ban Giốc Waterfall.
In the afternoon, journey to the remotest district of Hạ Lang, then rest in a Tày ethnic village in Quảng Uyên.
