1. Hanoi – Ba Bể, 220km (maps)

Early morning, gather at MotoTours Asia Garage by 6:30 AM to gear up.

7:00 AM: Depart, stop at Đại Lải Lake for breakfast and coffee, then ride along the Tam Đảo Range to Đại Từ, Chợ Chu. Follow green terraced fields to H’Mông and Tày villages in Bắc Kạn Province.

In the afternoon at Ba Bể Lake, board a boat to a quiet cove where you’ll stay tonight. Free to swim and immerse yourself in pristine nature.

2. Ba Bể – Pác Bó, 167km (maps)

After breakfast, board a boat across the Năng River, then explore terraced fields, stilt houses, waterwheels, bamboo groves, Mẻ Pja (Khau Cốc Chà) Pass, and Nà Tệnh Pass along the China border patrol road.

Arrive in Non Nước Cao Bằng—UNESCO Global Geopark. Tackle heart‑stopping passes favored by elite riders worldwide. In the evening at Pác Bó, leave your bikes at the lodge and take an electric car to Lenin Stream for a soak and to explore Pac Bó Cave.

3. Pác Bó – Ban Giốc – Quảng Uyên, 170km (maps)

Continue along the limestone borderlands: dramatic karsts, hidden villages, and crystal‑clear rivers. After hot‑spot photo stops, explore Ngườm Ngao Cave and take a bamboo raft on the Quầy Sơn River to admire Ban Giốc Waterfall.

In the afternoon, journey to remote Hạ Lang, then rest in a Tày ethnic village in Quảng Uyên.

4. Quảng Uyên – Hanoi, 280km (maps)
