“Northern Laos — distinctive and culturally rich!” The five-day tour starting from Điện Biên took me across the Tây Trang border, onto a boat down the Nậm Ou and finally to Luang Prabang, and left me with memories I will not lose. The riverbanks are a deep green, and the small ethnic villages along the way made every hour on the water feel enchanted. The guide was warm and constantly shared Lao culture and the history of each stretch. We stayed in cosy homestays and tried the Lao version of phở — a genuinely memorable food experience. Morning in Luang Prabang, hazy with early mist, then sunset glittering on the Mekong — all of it made the trip feel like poetry. Every day brought something different, from cutting through the water to walking into villages; restful and full at the same time. If you want something gentle but deep, combining nature and local culture, this is the tour. I was completely satisfied and will recommend it to my friends!
