Rajasthan is undoubtedly the most scenic and colorful region of India. Rajasthan, which literally means “The Land of Kings,” lies in the Thar Desert in the northwestern corner of India. Its rugged desert landscape dotted with ancient forts makes the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable motorcycle adventure.
We will embark on this journey aboard Royal Enfield motorcycles, heading to remote regions where tribes and nomads live as if untouched by the modern world. The journey includes a tiger safari in Ranthambore National Park and a visit to the world-famous Taj Mahal.
Throughout the journey, we will stay in old palaces that have been converted into charming hotels for travelers.
- Delhi – Mandawa. 180km
After breakfast, we leave the city amidst the chaotic traffic of Delhi and head to our motorcycle meeting point.
The Ladakh motorcycle tour begins as we ride towards the small town of Mandawa, located in eastern Rajasthan. This region is primarily agricultural, with crops like wheat and sugarcane. Along the way, we’ll encounter many locals dressed in traditional attire – women in colorful skirts and men with large turbans.
The quaint and peaceful town of Mandawa is famous for its many Havelis – traditional mansions adorned with vibrant murals. We will make several stops along the road to enjoy the idyllic rural scenes and taste local masala chai – India’s hot spiced milk tea.
