“Central Asia — vast and full of colour!” The 14-day tour through Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan showed me a Central Asia that is both grand and mysterious. The Pamir Highway, the clear water of Issyk-Kul, the Pamir ranges standing over everything — it adds up to a landscape you do not forget. I was also captivated by the brilliant Islamic architecture of Samarkand and Bukhara, and by riding nomad horses with Kyrgyz families. The local guides were knowledgeable, attentive and generous. The bikes handled every kind of terrain and the flexible itinerary kept the whole group energised. Excellent value for what you get.
