“Golden rice season — the northwest highlands are breathtaking!” I had dreamed about the golden terraced fields of Sapa and Mù Cang Chải — and this five-day tour turned the dream into reality. The road through Tú Lệ, Khau Phạ and Mù Cang Chải is so beautiful you do not want to blink. The village homestays brought us close to highland families, and traditional dishes like cơm lam and village-grilled chicken were excellent. The weather was a little cool, but that only made the scenery more poetic. This is absolutely a must-do tour for the northwest golden season!
